Getting Online with POLYBLOX
Crossroads is currently open to public multiplayer testing. This may be the only public game
for a while, as we figure out how to open wide-spread servers for the 2006 client. To get
started, read below!
Requirements
Requirements to run POLYBLOX's new open multiplayer testing are the following:
- The latest stable release of Novetus (not the snapshot - it will not work!)
- The latest release of Radmin VPN.
- A computer running Windows 7 or later.
- A computer with 8 gigabytes of memory (minimum)
1) Connecting to the POLYBLOX server
- After installing Radmin VPN, open it up and open up the 'Network' menu, then click 'Join a new network'.
- You should see a window that looks like this.
- Then type in the network name, which is 'POLYBLOX Server'.
- Then, type in the network password, which is 'MPTesting'. Note that the password much match, as it is CasE SeNSiTiVE.
- Once connected, you should see a network pop up called POLYBLOX Server. If so, Congratulations! You are now connected to POLYBLOX! You don't need to do any of the steps above again!
2) We arent done yet - you also have to install the Novetus URi extension to actually join games.
- Open Novetus AS AN ADMINISTRATOR and don't click "PLAY NOVETUS".
- In the bottom right corner, press "INSTALL URI.
- Then press 'Install Novetus URI and UserAgent
- Once complete, you can follow the next step.
3) Joining the game
Follow the steps above if you haven't already.
- To join the game, all you need to do is go to the games page and click the Join button on Brick Battle: Crossroads.
